Hours retained on one date
Plan from the hours you ask to hold, not from a flat “day rate.” These starting rates already use the three-hour minimum as the floor.

Retained hours are the product
Book a full day when the plan has several stops, waiting, or return trips that should stay with one vehicle. A client who visits two showrooms, a lunch and a downtown office is keeping the car between stops. Someone who needs a 7:40 office arrival every Tuesday wants a repeating commute, which is daily car service.
Tell the booking how many hours to hold and the clock time it starts. Eight hours plan from $960 for a sedan, $1,200 for an SUV, $1,400 for an S-Class and $1,600 for a Sprinter. Ten hours plan from $1,200, $1,500, $1,750 and $2,000. Ending early does not shrink the time you reserved. Running past it needs a request to extend, and the car may already be committed.
What to put on the day’s sheet
Start with the first address and the entrance. Then list the stops you already know, in order, with any time you must be inside. Extra stops have to fit the hours you held. A distant last stop, such as the Hamptons, can take more time than a loop of Midtown addresses, so say so when you reserve.
Say whether luggage stays in the car. Say if a child seat is required. For a traveler who lands and then keeps the car, add the flight and terminal and start the hourly block when you want the chauffeur waiting, not when the aircraft is scheduled to touch down.
When a shorter booking is enough
One hop from a hotel to a meeting is a point-to-point ride. A night with a single venue drop-off and a later pickup can be two transfers if nobody needs the car in between. A full day is worth it when the car is actually staying with you.
A conference with many guests is a set of group movements, not one person’s full day. A wedding has its own schedule. A full day fits the person or small party who is keeping one car.
Confirm the inclusions before the morning of
The hourly figures are starting rates. The quote confirms tolls, parking, garage time and any extra hour. Meals, a second driver and a named chauffeur are included only when the quote says so.
Choose the class from the party and the bags. Six people with a pile of luggage need more than a sedan. One person who wants a quiet sedan does not need a Sprinter. Reserve the hours once the class matches the trip.
Questions before booking
Is a full day the same as daily car service?
No. Full day means hours retained on one date. Daily means a repeating scheduled trip, such as a weekday commute, usually without keeping the car all day.
Is there a flat day rate?
No. The day is the hourly rate times the hours you reserve. The minimum is three hours. Eight hours plan from $960 for a sedan, $1,200 for an SUV, $1,400 for an S-Class and $1,600 for a Sprinter.
What if I only need five hours?
Reserve five hours. You do not have to buy eight because the page says full day. You also cannot reserve one hour. The minimum is three.
Can I add a stop that was not on the list?
Yes, inside the reserved time, if the added drive still fits. A long added trip may need more hours, and those hours have to be available.
Are tolls and parking included?
The quote confirms tolls, parking and any time beyond the reserved hours. Do not treat the hourly rate as an all-in total until that confirmation says so.
